LO1: Use and creation of sound

Foley sound:
Foley effects are sound effects added to the film during post production (after the shooting stops). They include sounds such as footsteps, clothes rustling, crockery clinking, paper folding, doors opening and slamming, punches hitting, glass breaking


Location sound:
Location sounds are sounds of waves connoting to the audience that the location is out at sea. Location sounds are used throughout every film







Atmospheric/ ambient sound:
This means the background sounds which are present in a scene or location. Common ambient sounds include wind, water, birds, crowds, office noises, traffic
